I often feel hurt as we all do by certain people in our lives. I am learning that God is Sovereign and that everything happens for a reason both the good & the bad. However I still go through periods of wanting to get revenge. We must all be reminded that Christ died for our sins- all of them and that how much better are we than our brothers. We all have sinned. And those who do not repent and turn from their sins shall see the wrath of God.

Whatever we determine to do is far less greater than God's plan & his wrath. As Christians we must pray for our enemies and forgive them because it is God who forgives us w/ the same type of forgiveness. In the end we must each be accountable for our every action no matter what is the reason behind it. God is righteous & He Will make ALL things right!

The Abundant LIFE!

God is awesome! He is sooo goood!:) Thank God for sound doctrine. God answers prayer- sometimes years later but the prayers are always answered. The Bible says that Jesus came so that we can have life and have it more abundantly (John 10:10). Alot of TV preachers and even local preachers misuse this scripture. Yes God wants us to have an abundant earthly life but the ULTIMATE abundant life is in heaven with him- the ETERNAL life!........Many corrupt false teachers teach that this verse means that we are to be prosperous with money, cars, and houses. This couldn't be more far from the truth. God blesses his children but that does not mean that he intended for us all to be rich. If this were the case, there would be no missionaries- who literally lay down there total lives for the Lord. And please don't misunderstand being rich is not a sin but the love of money is. Ok, so back to the abundant life- our abundant life here on earth is being able to walk with God and talk with him and to just feel a "taste" of his presence. And this taste is more than enough cause us as humans could not withstand the multitude of his total presence!! Humans are fleshly and the world is of the devil- this is why we are not called to have an abundant life on earth. Our abundant life is with the Lord in eternity- do not be fouled by wolfs in sheep clothing who want to take your money. Instead let God be Lord of your life in all areas and you will experience his presence in abundance until the time of your ULTIMATE abundant life with HIM! Amen & Amen!

The Almighty God

God is good & he has an extraordinary way of comforting. As the song goes- "I live to worship him". Just to taste his presence is so wonderful. Nothing can compare to it. The trials and tribulations we go through are mere temporal situations at the end of the day. My father, my best friend next to my sister, recently passed and God has used his passing in so many ways and I believe he will continue to do so and not just in my life but in many other peoples lives. I miss him dearly but his death has helped me to realize even more so that this life is temporary. This is not our home- so things won't be perfect- regardless of what the "television preachers" say our finances won't be perfect, our lives won't be perfect, our families, our careers. But I tell you one thing, because God is the head of all these things in my life- I more and more realize that those things matter less and less. When you're in God's perfect plan and perfect will- how can things be wrong. In other words whats wrong is right! If I don't get the promotion, if I don't get the job or the car or house- then it wasn't meant for me and God is only preparing better for me. and not better by my standards but better by his and what "greater" standards than his!! I challenge you to walk in faith and not by sight!

Life & Death

My father passed away on July 27th....I miss him dearly- but God has never failed me. It hurts, it hurts a lot... but I have now found peace about his death. Prior to his death, I never knew how I would go on if he died. Next to my sister- he was my best friend. In the more recent years- we constantly talked and spent more time together, but it still never seems like enough. I was there when he took his last breath. That day my sister & I spent time reading scripture after scripture to his almost comatose body. And we prayed, we prayed like never before & God heard our prayers! My dad went peacefully and was welcomed into the gates of heaven and received into Gods opened arms.

I thank God- for he is great....he is keeping me through this hard time, like he always has. I take great joy in remembering my daddy's life. He was a strong man and he fought long and hard. I commend my father for keeping secrets- secrets as in his last days that would have broke our hearts. He constantly worried about his children and their happiness. My dad's legacy will forever live on!!! I love you daddy! Thank you Lord for the peace that surpasses all understanding and for mending my heart and bringing light into my darkness. For you are my Comforter, my Rock, my Fortress and much much more!!

God's Blessings

I really don't know where to start. I love the Lord and I forever praise his name. I love him because he first loved me thru all my faults and flaws and sins. God contiually loves me consistently. There's nothing that can compare to his presence. The time is truly at hand. The end time signs are here. The other day in class we had a discussion about death and my teacher mentioned how most people do not embrace death. I myself do not want to die neccessarily now, but I know without a shadow of a doubt that I would be with the Lord when I do!! Hallelujah! And that alone is awesome enough. As I grow closer to God and increase our relationship, I constantly yearn for our next meeting. In addition to this, I'm constantly adding people to my list of prayer- prayer for strength, prayer for guidance but overall prayer for salvation. You see there are many folks who call themselves "saved" or "christians" and believe they truly are, but you see it is a heart belief and not merely a head belief. If it was just a head belief then it would be quite simple to understand the atheist or the agnostic but once you experience God and you know that you know that you know him!! Nothing can ever compare or sway you! You see when God talks to you on a daily and walks with you through situations and comforts you, there is no denying him. Some people think Christians just follow a book- the Bible and have all these rules and regulations about being good...this is a total misconception. And of course we try to do good, but its not about that. It is about relationship with him and when you love him and are close to him- ALL you desire to do is please him!! Thank you Lord for your undenying presence in my life and for showing yourself strong each and everyday!

God's Strength

God reminded me today that I can do all things through Christ. "Greater is he that is in me than he that is in the world". I sometimes forget that my weaknesses are God's strengths. He can and will take anything and turn it around. All I need do is ASK. He is so faithful and just. My struggles, my hardships, my faults, my battles are not mine but the Lord's. I've been struggling lately with letting certain people go as well as certain things go. Somethings are not easy but the Lord reminded me that he sent his son to die on the cross for this purpose: that I can overcome anything through him. Thank you Lord! Help me to be more like you each day. Help me to give up what shouldn't be and to put on what should. Give me discernment in every situation. Thank you for watching over me and protecting me even through my sin. I pray for those who don't know you today and I ask you to come upon their hearts and let them know their urgent need to be in relationship with you. Amen & Amen.

God's Plan is Perfect!

I haven't blogged in awhile, I've been caught up with life here and there. And since this is somewhat an inspirational blog, lets just say I haven't been inspired lately. Yes, from time to time, but not completely.

A lot has been going on in my life but through it I can see God's face a little more clearer. I am also being changed into his image more and more.....and that is what matters in the end. I believe God has a perfect plan for everyone's life, not just ones life but every single detail of their life as well. Some people say God doesn't care about the little things, but I believe he does...I believe he cares about the small things just as much as the big things.

I believe that if what I want matches up with what the Lord wants then Great! But if not, I still want what the Lord would have because his way and his plan is perfect. And what can be better than perfect. So until I know his good and perfect will, I will seek his face day and night. His words will not depart from my mouth. I love the Lord because he first loved me. He loved me like no one else can, in ways no one else can! He not only loved me, but showed me love.....in my time of need he poured out love on me, so much love that it began to overflow...in my conversations, the way I walked, and the way I talked! Praise God! Thank you for being my healer. my deliverer, my rock, my peace and so much more!!

God's Presence

The other day I was praying...and I don't know if people who have not received the baptism of the Holy Spirit can feel this or not, I can only speak from my experience...before I received the baptism of the Holy Ghost I would pray and believe and hope that my prayers were heard based on the Word, but now when I pray I KNOW God hears me!!! And there's nothing in the world like that feeling. Anyhow like I was saying, when I was praying I felt God's touch. I've heard some people explain it as though God is touching hands with you. And thats exactly what it is. I never understood why people raised their hands, but it's to hold hands with God. Well, maybe not always...for example during church service I raise my hands...but I don't always feel God touching mine; it the times that I'm alone having a one on one that God ALWAYS meets me. Now he doesn't always give me revelation....or shall I say I don't always receive revelation, but he always holds my hands (as I'd like to call it) letting me know that he is there.
Lately I"ve been feeling overwhelmed with life and all the many things that come with it. There are so many things to get done in a days time, including spending time with the Lord. I've been feeling like I haven't been doing enough of that, but the other day as I was praying in the Spirit and thanking God...he began to hold my hands and tell me that he understood and that he was still pleased and that it would be alright. I began to praise him and just thank him for speaking to me and comforting me. But don't get me wrong, the Lord will sometimes give me a corrective word...which hurts but I know it is for my best. God is still God at the end of the day... and if we worship him in Spirit and in truth, even if it seems like only a little....as long as it's to our best of our ability and strength that is what matters.

God has not Forgot.....

God is awesome and he reminded me the other day that man has faults and that man is not perfect. People will hurt you, so don't expect perfection out of any relationship and also that it's not the end of the world if you're continually hurt because he sees my hurt and it is him who I should place my trust in. Thank you Lord! He reminded me that he is my comforter, it is in him and him alone I will find my peace. So I must go to him continually in seek of strength and peace. He reminded me that those who seek him shall find him and when I draw near to him he will draw near to me. He told me that he hears my prayers and to remain strong and steadfast, not changing. But to have as much faith in him as I've had before. He told me that his work isn't done and he has a plan that is unimaginable. He reminded me that with him nothing is impossible! Thank you lord Jesus for your presence and for your ovewhelming strength. Thank you for meeting me each and every time I call upon your name. Thank you for being forever faithful! Help me to be all that you have called me to be and forgive me for the times I haven't. Place the love of Christ upon my heart that I might love others as you have loved me and help me to be Christ-minded and humble in every situation. Thank you Lord Jesus forevermore for your Holy Spirit and for showing yourself strong in my life. I desire to serve you in all areas and will continue to seek your face forever more! Amen!

Happy Good Friday!

Praise God for Good Friday! Good Friday is celebrated in memory of Jesus Christ giving his life for us. In other words it is in remembrance of the day of Christ's Crucifixion. I believe it is greater than Easter (Resurrection Sunday) because without Christ dying there would indeed be no resurrection! Today I will take some time to meditate and reflect on how great God is.

Dear Lord,

I just want to thank you Father God and praise you for your goodness! Thank you for sending your son to die on the cross for my sins. For without that I would be nothing. I would be separated from you forever. I thank you for loving me enough to do so. I ask you to forgive me for my sins and to forgive me for not always doing your will. I ask you to remind me through your word, that I have, in fact, died to sin at the cross with you and are renewed through Christ. I praise you Father God and thank you that I no longer have to live in sin, but I am able to live abundantly through you.
I thank you for all that you've done in my life and all that you are doing. For your word says thats the great work you have begun in me, you will continue until the coming of Christ. Phillipians 1:6-Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.
I thank you for being Jehovah Jireh, my provider....you have made provision like none other, sustaining me through everything. Praise you for being Jehovah Nissi, and fighting my battles. I worship you for being Jehovah Shalom, and pouring out the peace of God over me at times when I was weary and needed comfort. I could go on and on, Lord, for you are everything...my fortress, my rock, my comforter, my light, my strength. Praise be unto you, Hallelujah! Amen

As A Man Thinks, So Is He

The Bible commands us to renew our minds constantly. The reason for this is found in Romans 8:6-8- Now the mind of the flesh [which is sense and reason without the Holy Spirit] is death [death that comprises all the miseries arising from sin, both here and hereafter]. But the mind of the Holy Spirit is life and [soul] peace [both now and forever]. That is because the mind of the flesh [with its carnal thoughts and purposes] is hostile to God, for it does not submit itself to God's Law; indeed it cannot. So then those who are living the life of the flesh [catering to the appetites and impulses of their carnal nature] cannot please or satisfy God, or be acceptable to Him.
Now this is the reason for the restoring of our minds. The definition for renew is to restore to a former state; make new or as if new again. When God created us we were formed in his image (Genesis 1:26). We were just like God, Christ- minded and everything! When sin was brought into the world through disobedience, we lost our Christ-likeness. But the good news is that through Christ's shedding his blood for our transgressions, we regained it! By believing in Jesus Christ we can now live an abundant life. If you've accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, he now has total control over your life. You've been born again in Spirit, but your body is still of flesh. And our flesh (including our mind) is sinful. As long as we are in this world, we will have our flesh. So in order to possess the mind of Christ we must renew our minds by filling them with God's word.
Sinful behavior starts from a thought. Our thoughts begin in our minds. In order to crucify our flesh, our mind (which should be of the spirit) must be greater than our flesh. Therefore the Spirit should over power the flesh at all times, resulting in Godliness. In order for this to take place, we must not only renew our minds, but renew them daily. Another definition for renew is: to make effective for an additional period; to renew a lease. This explains that when you renew your mind it is only for a period of time before it must be renewed again. We must read the word daily in order to restore us in fellowship with God. When we do not read his word, we cannot hear clearly from him. So this is crucial. I, myself, am guilty of not reading when I should. Reading God's word is important in order to experience the fullness God has for us and it definitely should not be taken lightly. God Bless You All!

Dishonor- to deprive of honor; disgrace; bring reproach or shame on.

Honor- to hold in honor or high respect; revere.

Dishonor is sin, believe it or not. It wasn't until recently that I have begun to understand more in depth the meaning of honor. And that in order for us to honor God, we must first honor each other. For how can we possibly honor God- The Most Highest, the Almighty, the Alpha and Omega; and yet we can't even esteem and honor our brother. This past Sunday a minister at my church preached on Honor and it really opened my eyes.

Yeah, we call ourselves Christians and claim to honor God, but do we really. Jesus Christ knew the true definition of honor. He constantly met with God, one on one seeking him day in and day out. He always placed him above everything.

When we go to heaven our focus will be on him and his kingdom. We will honor him day in and day out. Our practice for this should be here on earth now. We are called to honor each other. Which means everyone: God, our spiritual parents (our pastors), the government, our parents, our brothers and sisters in Christ, etc. Often we, including myself don't do this. Some us don't abide by laws which the government has put in place. Or we don't respect our parents. Or some talk about the pastor behind his back. These and other dishonoring acts do not allow us to be Christ-like. As I mentioned earlier Christ knew the true meaning of honor, and we should too. And not just know it and understand it, but practice it day in and day out. We are to give much more than we receive. We are to place others above ourselves. This and other Christ-like acts (serving God and being obediant) will continue to draw people of the world into the church, thus fulfilling our mission- to bring others to Christ.

For me this was an extremely important message because I knew that there was dishonor in my life, but I didn't know exactly how important it was and how displeased God was with it. But its all a process and each day the Holy spirit ministers to me more and more. So my prayer today is that God will show me, along with anyone else lacking honor in their life, how to esteem others the way he has called me to. I pray that he will constantly remind us that in dishonoring others we are indeed dishonoring him! To God be the Honor, the Glory, and the Power!

His Delay is not his Denial: "Wait upon the Lord"

I want to start off with just thanking the Lord for all he's done for me and all he is currently doing for me. I praise him and thank him for restoration. I thank him for strength and discernment and a peace that I've never had before. Okay with all that said, the topic of this post is "Waiting upon the Lord." I heard a song this morning about waiting upon the Lord. Everything is in the Lord's timing. He knows whats best for us. The words of the song go: we may not know when, we may not know how. This is so true we may not know when and we certainly may not know how. I don't know about you but I've been there plenty of times. When circumstances have become bad and fixing them seems impossible. But God is the impossible. He can do anything. It all comes down to faith and just standing. When we haven't quite heard from God yet in regards to our next step in our situation that does not mean he is not listening. There is one time when God reminded me through his Holy Spirit manifested in a sister in Christ that he had not yet forgotten about a huge issue that was on my heart. You see God cares, and he will often speak through people in order to increase our faith in him. And even if it only increases by a little bit (And the Lord answered, If you had faith (trust and confidence in God) even [so small] like a grain of mustard seed, you could say to this mulberry tree, Be pulled up by the roots, and be planted in the sea, and it would obey you Luke 17:6), thats good enough for God to move in the situation. So if you've asked God for something and have not gotten an answer back yet, just know that he has not forgotten. His Word says that he will never leave us or forsake us, (Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you- Hebrews 13:5) So while waiting upon him just continue to have an insurmountable faith in him and stand on his Word.

Isaiah 40:31 -but those who wait on the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

The Goodness of God

This year, along with some of last year has been somewhat challenging for me; but God is good. And he comes & shows himself to those who seek him. I began praying on a situation about 5 months ago....now I wasn't always praying about it because I wanted to do what I wanted to do. I was just letting things happen. And I had a non- chalant attitude about it. But it was God who changed my attitude. He surrounded me with people of God, not only that but he removed those people in my life who were not encouraging me and helping my situation. I started hearing the word of God more and more which as a result started to change my whole attitude towards my situation. As my attitude began to change, I began praying for God's will and not mine. During this time I was still constantly hearing God's Word on a daily basis. So hearing the Word (Romans 10:17- Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ) strengthened my faith. I began believing God for what I asked of him. Day by day my faith increased not only by hearing the Word, but by God revealing himself to me like never before. He assured me day in and day out that he is doing a great work. Each time when I felt like giving up, he picked me up and said I am with you. Right now, I believe that my prayer has already been answered in the Spirit and shall manifest in the flesh soon. Praise God!

I have never felt the Holy Spirit so strong in my life before. When we pray his answer to us is him *God*. He told me if I seek him all things (including what I prayed for) will be added unto me. So I've been seeking him with all my heart... and he's given me a peace like never before. He's lifted my burdens and renewed my spirit...Glory to God! He's given me a new prayer language which strengthens me daily and draws me closer to him:) But not only do we have to seek him, we have to obey what he is telling us to do.

God Speaks.....

I've learned recently that God speaks to those who make their selves available to him. For a long time I didn't hear from God because I was not listening. By listening I mean surrounding myself totally with things and people that glorify him. And also surrendering 100% to him. Letting him use me in every which way no matter what. Reading the Word, because it is truely living, has opened my ears even more. The Bible says that God's words are sharper than any two-edged sword, which is so true in every way. The Word can be used to convict, teach, and deliver. If we as Christians, take the time to read God's word he will most definitely make himself known through his word.
I'm learning every day to walk in Spirit and Truth, instead of submitting to the flesh. As I live through my spirit more and more God empowers me more and more its amazing. Most recently I had a difficult task to complete and I am still somewhat in the process of completing it. As I follow the Lord (thus my spirit) he tends to give me more direction every step of the way. God is truly my everything. He is my comfort, my Help, my Friend, my Rock--- and so much more. I love you God and thank you forever more!

Thankful; Despite My Situation

I thankful now and forever for God and all he's done for me. During this time when I need him most he is there with his arms wide open. Today I thank him for his love and his mercy and for sustaining me. I thank him that regardless of my wrongs he will never ever forskae me. I praise him and thank him for his spirit which is upon me.

I praise him for who he is and what he has done. I honor him because HE IS! Simple as that- HE IS!

Dear God,

I ask that u continue to be Lord of my life. I ask that u increase u in me on a daily basis. I ask that u strengthen me and build me to be the woman of God that u would have. I yield to u in every area of my life, because I know that u have whats best for me, and will never lead me astray. Thank u for being a part of my life and being my comfort in time of need, especially during this trying time.

RELATIONSHIPS

Over the past few days, I've learned a lot. I've learned that some people are placed in your life to make you stronger and to make you appreciate the ones who do love you even more. I've learned that every relationship is not always going to be a good one; whether they are your brother, sister, mother, father, etc. I've learned to accept the way certain people are.

I've learned to cherish those who do love me. And to appreciate them even more so because they have always been there through thick and thin. They don't judge me for what I've done, but love me for who I truly am.

And most of all I've learned when everything and everybody is gone, God will Always, Always! be there!!

The Serenity Prayer

God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know the difference.

He will never leave you or forsake you

I haven't posted in awhile because life for me has not been easy lately. And I've been kinda down and out, but through it all the Lord never left me. That is the extraordinary thing about God. Your friends may leave you and maybe even your family, but God will never ever leave you. No matter how many times you do him wrong, he is always there w/ arms wide open waiting to embrace you. And I thank him more than ever for that. God is so so so GOOD!

On this day today, I thank God for his mercy and his love and more than anything his forgiveness! I praise him for who he is and what he does and continues to do in my life. I worship him because of his glory and his power!

I thank God for being in my life and directing my ways, cause without him I'd be lost, lost, lost! I thank God for seeing me through even when I forgot him, he did not forget me- not for one second. My God, my God my loving merciful God.

How Can They Say He Does Not Exist!

My heart goes out to those people who do not know the Lord, Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. But it goes out even more so to those who boldly and firmly insist that he does not exist! How can they say this when his glory is all around us! God is in everything (Genisis 1:21-So God created the great creatures of the sea and every living and moving thing with which the water teems, according to their kinds, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good).

Okay for starters, let's look at nature alone. Look at the many different plants and trees that exist. Not to mention the beautiful flowers and the overwhelming pleasant scents that they posses. The many different colors and shapes and sizes of fruit. The mere fact that they have some substance known to us as fructose, which makes them taste sweet. They are naturally sweetened because God sweetened them. Or just look at the way birds fly in formation, the way a spider spins her web, the way a caterpillar changes into a butterfly, I could go on and on. But these are just a few ways that demostrate God. The amazing fact that the boundary of the sea is the sand, which it can never cross is extraordinary in it's self (Jeremiah 5:22-Should you not fear me?" declares the LORD. "Should you not tremble in my presence? I made the sand a boundary for the sea, an everlasting barrier it cannot cross. The waves may roll, but they cannot prevail; they may roar, but they cannot cross it).

Now let's look at the human body. Both inside and outside are beautiful, but for now let's focus on the inside. It's intricate design speaks for itself. The simple fact that we have 206 bones that comprise our bodies also speaks for itself. Just look at the thousands of veins which run through our bodies. Or the many muscles and tissues that form us. The heart is a wonder of itself, along with the lungs and kidneys, and reproductive system. The miracle of birth extraordinary. I now realize this more so now that I have two kids. Now lets take a short look at the outside. We are all different shapes, sizes and colors. It goes beyond the shapes and sizes of our bodies. Our noses', our eyes, our hair; our whole bodies are outstanding works of art!

There are so many other examples of God's beauty and creativity. Regardless of what some scientist say, I personally know all of this is not by chance! To those of u who who boldy feel that there is no God, I dare u to pick up the Bible and read it. There was a man, well for that matter a few scholars over time, who professed there was no God. One was thoroughly studying the Bible to disprove it. During this time period while he was studying he became a born again believer and began to profess Christ's name boldly! The Bible is truly living! (Hebrews 4:12- For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. All I can say is wow. I was not even planning on writing this post today until I read the comments from my last post.

I recently recontructed my whole page. I deleted everything of my old one. I decided to glorify the Lord (after all that is what the Word calls us to do-Romans 15:6). But it's crazy how when my page reflected everyday worldly things I practically got no comments, but now that I am doing the will of God, I get opposition (not to mention encouragement also- thanks to those of u who are not blinded and know the Lord Jesus Christ as ur Savior). Oh and Big Ups to my baby Sis, Ree, who always has my back.

I was just going to comment in the comments section but I had way too much to say. As far as the first comment by astraea. What I was saying is exactly the opposite of of technical and scientific. It's worshipping Christ in truth and spirit as the Bible commands (John 4:24- "God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth.") . And u saying "what on Earth is a relationship w/ Christ" could not have proven my point anymore- Christians today are very blinded and lack a relationship w/ Christ and some don't even know what one is. Case and point clearly proven. Thank u so much, astraea, for ur demonstration. As far as belief, of course u have to have belief before u can have relationship (Acts 16:31). To the second comment posted by hadijah alsogoff (oh and I'm not Jewish, by the way), it's not about religion; it's about relationship. It's not about getting another religion because people lack faith in the one true God. Oh and by the way I did not say people of my religion barely read their Bibles, I was speaking of Americans in general. It's not about a religion benefiting me! It's about how we glorify God, how we are witnesses of God in our everyday life. And we cannot do that if we are out of fellowship (relationship) w/ him. We cannot hear God's voice and yield to his will if we do not pick up his Word daily (Matthew 4:4, John 18:31); if we do not get on our knees and have conversations w/ him daily (Proverbs 15:8, 1 Thessalonians 5:17).

I can't say I was surprised by those two comments because the Word says the world will hate those who are believers: John 15:18-19: If the world hates u, keep in mind that it hated me first. If you belonged to the world it would love u as it's own. As it is you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you.........If they persecuted me, they will persecute u also. 1 John 3:13: Do not be surprised, my brothers if the World hates u. So I wasn't surprised; just saddened and my heart goes out to those who made those comments. But the comments gave me more of an inspiration for my page and even more in witnessing. But I definitely will keep those of u in prayer who are struggling w/ your walk in Christ or who have not established a relationship w/ him and those who do not know him as their personal savior. Cause it is crucial!

I leave u w/ this scripture: 1 Peter 3:14,15: But even if you should suffer for what is right, you are blessed. "Do not fear what they fear; do not be frightened." But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect, keeping a clear conscience, so that those who speak maliciously against your good behavior in Christ may be ashamed of their slander. It is better, if it is God's will, to suffer for doing good than for doing evil.

Whats Really Going On!

America, I dare u to examine yourselves! What is going on w/ the Christians (including myself) this day in age. I had to really re-examine myself last week and I encourage u to also.

How many of u honestly have a relationship w/ the Lord? Okay a lot of u may have quickly said yes. But I ask u to ask yourself again. Okay we all know what relationship means. How can we call ourselves Christians when we barely spend time w/ Christ. How Often do u read ur Bible? 64% of Americans do not read their Bibles, which leaves us w/ 36% that do. And the 36% could possible only read their Bible on Sundays while at church. This is sad, really sad.

In order to maintain a relationship w/ God u must meet w/ him Daily through prayer and study. We call ourselves Chrisians but watch on an average 15 hours of TV a week! And spend 2 hours w/ God a week (and for most of us thats in Church on Sundays). We call ourselves Christians, but pollute our minds and our hearts w/ filth! We watch music videos that degrate self worth. We participate in the same things which those who are going to Hell particitpate in- Fornication for one. Many of us who call ourselves Christian have premarital sex, but for some reason excuse it! And think it's okay! We get drunk and go to parties and the club just as the world does! We have more secular music than Christian music in our homes. We praise God in Church w/ Songs and Hallelujahs, but we don't realize that God could care the less about our praise if our lives are not right!

We are failing to see that the end times are at hand. We are the church age that thinks we are saved. The majority of Christians today are neither hot nor cold and the Lord will spit u out! It's serious. We do eveything that the Bible speaks against and still call ourselves Christians! We all need a reality check

The Bible is the living Word! And the Word is God! The Bible is to be our spiritual milk and without it we can not grow. Try it, I dare u! Read the Bible for one week and see how much u grow and how much closer your relationship is w/ Christ. Without that close relationship we cannot hear God's voice. We pray and wonder why we have not heard back from God? We wonder why we miss blessings the Lord has for us? We wonder why when it's all said and done the Lord says- I do not know u, Depart from me.

I urge u and your households to be strong in God's Word. And pick it up each and every day as if it were medicine and u would die without it. The Church as a whole will grow and we will then begin to experience the power which God has for us in our lives and in witnessing.

Do not love the world or anything in the world. For if anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For everything in the world; the cravings of sinful man, the lust in his eyes, and the boasting of what he has and does comes not from the Father; but from the world.
